A regular part of The Writing Road to Reading is reading for spelling and reading for reading to increase word fluency. The Fluency Practice Word Lists were developed to increase text fluency for students who read the Spalding Series 1 Leveled Readers.
Once students have learned the first 30 phonograms, they are ready to begin working with these high-frequency vocabulary lists.
The Word Fluency Series 1 Manual will be delivered in a pdf format, and has complete directions for daily word reading fluency practice.
