After reviewing 70 phonograms, typically in two or three days, students learn the spelling, meaning and usage of more difficult words. Difficult syllable division, grammar, and punctuation rules are reviewed and applied in spelling and writing lessons. Five comprehension strategies are practiced in literature, science and social studies texts.
