The Learning to Read and Loving It Series
These handsome beginning readers are especially designed so children can practice using phonograms they have learned. After 30 phonograms are taught, one reader is introduced each week, and will incorporate the phonograms taught that week along with those previously taught.
Level 1 books are Narratives, Level 2 books are Informatives and Level 3 books are Informative-Narratives.

(Reusable) These short, interesting passages are used to teach and test comprehension and develop higher level thinking skills. Reading levels can be assessed depending on number of questions answered correctly.
McCall-Crabbs Books A to E include science and social studies topics. Vocabulary becomes more challenging at each grade level. Questions measure literal and inferential comprehension.
