The success of The Spalding Method® has, unfortunately, caused a number of imitators to purport to teach The Method or a simplified version of it. Although these entities might be using Spalding copyrighted materials including the textbook The Writing Road to Reading, they are not authorized by Spalding Education International to offer courses, materials, or software based on The Spalding Method.
