The Coaching 1 Course is designed for individuals currently coaching Spalding teachers or those who may wish to do so in the future. This course is designed to help you meet the challenges involved in mentoring your peers.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Multisensory Instruction of Language Arts Part 1 Course and Multisensory Instruction of Language Arts Part 2 Course.
Spalding Coaching 1
- teaches mentoring skills necessary to help teachers successfully implement The Spalding Method
- provides effective coaching strategies and a 4-step process to help you identify and overcome problems and attitudes that can inhibit professional growth
- provides written overview of the Grade Level Teacher Guides to assure this valuable resource informs teachers of effective classroom instruction
Course hours are 8:30am-4:30pm Thursday and Friday. Space is limited to 20.
